Evidentemente doveva succedere.

Obviously it had to happen. Today in downtown Milan, like 5 years ago in Nako, by pure chance my way came across the Dalai Lama. This time only the moment, when he get off the car to enter in the hotel where he is staying. The hotel is one of the most modern and fancier of the city, with all the highest level comforts and facilities .
So I prefer to remember the Dalai Lama in Nako, into the simplicity of his people, with rugged mountains as a background and colorful prayer flags as decoration.

I once took the train with two Buddhist monks that were on their way to see Dalai Lama in Himachal Pradesh.
WOW! And did you ask them something about the meeting? I know that the exile city where the Dalai Lama lives is Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh.
I guess that’s where they were heading. We shared a “sleeper” on the train to Delhi. We didn’t talk much, because they didn’t really speak English. Just a few words.
I went to Dharamsala later but I didn’t like it because I was so fucking cold there, so after a few days I headed to Punjab instead.
